Refunds and Return Policy

At PeerMetals, we are committed to providing a secure, transparent, and fair marketplace for all users. This Return & Refund Policy outlines how cancellations, refunds, and returns are handled for all transactions completed on PeerMetals.

By using our platform, you agree to comply with this policy, as well as our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.


1. Order Cancellations

Buyer-Initiated Cancellations

  • Cancellation requests initiated by the buyer are subject to non-refundable processing fees.

  • The processing fee will be automatically deducted from the buyer’s refund amount at the time of cancellation.

  • Once a seller has shipped an order, cancellations are no longer permitted.

Seller-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a seller cancels an order, processing fees will be charged to the seller’s account balance.

  • Sellers with excessive cancellation rates may face additional penalties per our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service.


2. Return Eligibility

a. Return Requests

Buyers must submit return requests through the PeerMetals platform within 3 days of the item(s) getting delivered.

b. Accepted Return Reasons

Returns may be accepted for:

  • Item not as described.

  • Incorrect item received.

  • Counterfeit or fraudulent items.

c. Unaccepted Return Reasons

Returns will generally not be accepted for:

  • Buyer’s change of mind or personal dislike of the item.

  • Damage caused by buyer mishandling after delivery.

  • Disputes related to grading, unless the listing was misleading.


3. Return Shipping Responsibility

  • If the seller is at fault (e.g., wrong item shipped, item misrepresented):

    • PeerMetals will coordinate the return, and all shipping costs will be billed to the seller’s account balance.

  • If the buyer is at fault (e.g., buyer remorse, incorrect shipping address provided by buyer):

    • The buyer is responsible for purchasing and providing the return shipping label.


4. Refunds & Payment Adjustments

Refunds will be processed after:

  • The returned item is received and inspected by the seller or PeerMetals (as applicable).

  • The item is confirmed to meet the return reason requirements.

Refunds may be subject to:

  • Deduction of processing fees (for cancellations or other applicable cases).

  • Deductions for missing accessories, tampered items, or damaged returns.


5. Special Conditions

  • PeerMetals reserves the right to mediate all refund and return disputes and may request additional documentation, including photos and tracking information.

  • All refunds are issued to the original payment method used on PeerMetals.

  • Items returned outside of our dispute process or without prior approval may not qualify for refunds.


6. Dispute Escalation

If a resolution cannot be reached between buyer and seller, PeerMetals will review the case and make a final determination based on:

  • Listing accuracy.

  • Transaction records.

  • Shipment and delivery information.

  • User communications through the platform.

Our decisions on disputes are final and binding per the Terms of Service.
