1881-CC ANAC VF20 Morgan dollar

A straight graded VF20 Carson City, in a classic older ANACs holder, is harder to find than expected. Most CCs in that range are raw and cleaned with a wide interpretation of grade and value.

I inherited this coin from my mother-in-law, which she remembered buying between 1948 and 1955. Two owner ! I have quite a few Morgans and Peace dollars that have been in the family since then. I started having them graded when ANACs was slabbing the yellow holders.

Not that much of a story, but, still a coin story.
