Silver Kentucky State Quarter PR-69 DCAM

Coin Description:

A 2001-S Kentucky Silver State Quarter, certified and graded PR69DCAM by PCGS.

This coin features a near-flawless Proof 69 grade with the highly desirable Deep Cameo (DCAM) designation, showcasing a stunning, frosted contrast against deep, mirror-like backgrounds. Because it is from the official Silver Proof Set, this coin is struck in 90% fine silver rather than standard clad.

This specific coin comes encapsulated in the highly collectible, limited PCGS State Flag Special Label, which proudly displays the official Commonwealth of Kentucky flag. It makes a perfect addition to any 50 States registry set or silver coin collection.

CoinDetails:

• Obverse (Front): Features a sharp, high-contrast bust of George Washington. The frosted texture of the design contrasts starkly against the mirrored fields, which is the defining attribute of the Deep Cameo (DCAM) designation.

• Reverse (Back): Showcases the iconic "My Old Kentucky Home" federal-style mansion along with a thoroughbred horse standing behind a traditional board fence.

• Special Flag Label: PCGS periodically encapsulates coins with custom-themed labels for added aesthetic appeal. These custom state flag holders are popular for statehood registry sets
