Paper currency is valued on rarity, series, serial number and condition — never on metal content.
Look for listings that state the grading service and certification number, or that show sharp photographs of all four corners and the centre fold.
Star notes, low or repeating serial numbers, and early series carry the strongest premiums over face value.
For anything not in a holder, message the seller for additional photographs — folds and pinholes are hard to see in a single image.
Pricing, payment, shipping and disputes
Design, mintage, condition and demand — not metal content. Two pieces of identical weight can be worth very different amounts, so read the grading notes and photographs on each listing carefully.
Yes, on any listing where the seller has enabled offers. Send your offer from the listing page and the seller can accept, decline or counter. Some sellers also run auctions, where you bid instead.
