A golden-colored, manganese-brass dollar series that depicted four U.S. Presidents per year, in order of their term, from George Washington in 2007 through the program's conclusion in 2016. Best known today for its edge-lettering errors -- Congress moved the date, mint mark, and mottos to the coin's edge in a separate strike step, and early production mistakes made several 2007 issues genuinely collectible.

The 2007-D tops this series: a top-grade example is estimated around $5. Condition drives that figure — the same date in worn condition is worth a fraction of it, which is why each guide shows a range rather than a single number.
