Third metal for the Philharmonic
The Vienna Philharmonic coin began in gold in 1989 and became the world's best-selling gold coin several times in the 1990s and 2000s. The silver version followed in 2008 and the platinum in 2016, all carrying the same organ-and-instruments artwork by the Mint's chief engraver Thomas Pesendorfer, so the three metals sit together as a matched set.
