Photograph both sides, enter weight and purity, and set a fixed price, an auction, or a price that tracks silver spot automatically. No listing or promotion fees.
The buyer pays up front. Print the label from your shipping profile, add package insurance if you want it, and send with tracking. Funds are held until delivery is confirmed.
A 2.75% platform fee comes off the sale, falling to 2% as you sell more. Payouts reach your bank in one to three days, or instantly for SellerPlus members.
For common bullion coins like Silver Eagles, Maple Leafs and 90% junk silver, the best price comes from selling directly to other stackers and collectors, because they pay a premium over spot instead of bidding under it. A local coin shop is the fastest option and pays close to melt. Online buyback programs from large dealers pay a little under melt and cover shipping. Pawn shops and "we buy gold" stores pay the least.
Typically 90 to 98 percent of melt value for generic silver and junk silver, and around melt for recognized coins like American Silver Eagles. Shops need a margin to resell, so their buy price is their sell price minus a spread.
