Photograph both sides, enter weight and purity, and set a fixed price, an auction, or a price that tracks silver spot automatically. No listing or promotion fees.
The buyer pays up front. Print the label from your shipping profile, add package insurance if you want it, and send with tracking. Funds are held until delivery is confirmed.
A 2.75% platform fee comes off the sale, falling to 2% as you sell more. Payouts reach your bank in one to three days, or instantly for SellerPlus members.
Silver bars carry a small premium when bought and almost none when sold to a dealer, so selling direct to another stacker is the only way to recover any of it. Coin shops pay at or slightly under melt for recognized refiners like Engelhard, Johnson Matthey, PAMP and Sunshine. Online buyback pays a little under melt. Unbranded or hand-poured bars get discounted further at a shop because they are harder to verify.
Melt value is the spot price times the bar weight in troy ounces, which the silver melt calculator shows live. Dealers typically pay 95 to 100 percent of that. Vintage Engelhard and Johnson Matthey 100 oz bars, and certain early poured bars, sell well above melt to collectors, so list those individually rather than selling them as scrap.
Use a rigid box, wrap each bar so it cannot shift, ship USPS Priority or Registered with tracking, and insure for the full value. PeerMetals sellers can add package insurance at checkout, and shipping profiles let you set the rate once for every bar listing.
Listing is free. A 2.75% platform fee applies only when a bar sells, falling to 2% as sales grow. Payouts go out in one to three days. Heavy bars are often listed with spot-price pricing, so the ask tracks the market until the moment it sells.
